For this recipe you will need:

  • Liquid from 1 15oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation :

  • Heat oven to 200 degrees F
  • line 4 half sheet pans with parchment paper
  • beat aquafaba liquid with 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • do this on medium speed  for 2 minutes until foamy
  • add in the sugar one tablespoon at a time
  • add the vanilla
  • increase speed to high
  • beat to stiff peaks for  5  minutes or more m
  • put the ixture in a piping bag
  • make a half dollar size cookies
  • bake for 1 1/2 hours
  • remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes

Storage :

  • put them in a ziplock bag to keep them crisp for days .
